Let’s all get together online and workshop some ideas. Bring your most half baked ideas, or ones that you have been thinking about for a while. Make sure to log in to slack and vote in the doodle poll.

May Updates

Starting this month we’re spreading our work out! On the second Saturday of each month we’ll be hosting our Page Swaps, our most frequent workshop for our Works in Progress. As always, if you have longer or finished work, you can drop those in their respective folders on the drive.

We’ll also be trying to pick a day that works best for Idea Bounces, General Talks, and other events to keep us social.

Stay Home. Stay Safe.

Happy Writing,
J M Tuckerman

In The New Year

We’ve got plans to be more active in the new year. Take a look at some of the things we have planned for 2020.

Bi-Weekly Check-Ins

Every two weeks we’re logging our word counts and the time we’ve spent writing, because we should get credit for drafting even when ideas don’t appear on the page.

Monthly Page Swaps

At the end of every month, we’re swapping 1-2 pages of our current WIP to get feedback on short scenes.

Writing Sprints

We did them for NaNo but now we’re going to be a little more social about it whenever we have free time. Check out the Slack channel to see if anyone is available to do some writing sprints and then get the words on the page.

Idea Swaps

Sometimes all you have is a character, place, or color scheme. Let’s talk about it and make it a reality!

Online Open Mics

Everyone should be comfortable reading their work. So let’s hang out online, read our awesome work, and applaud those who shared.
